Warming up after a long hiatus

This weekend, I’ve got to do food deliveries full-time, but after that, I’ll have a whole week free to focus on PC projects, maybe even two weeks. Things are definitely looking up! If the rest of the year goes like this (and I think it will), it’s going to be an exciting time for Blossomsoft Games.

Right now, I’m warming up with some artistic tools I haven’t touched in years: Aseprite, Blender, and some 2D drawing software like Photoshop. Honestly, I’m debating whether I should finally quit Adobe for good. I’ve never been a fan of their subscription plan (“you’ll own nothing and be happy” nonsense). I might give Krita or GIMP another try, though I wish they had proper layer composition—that’s the one feature that makes Photoshop so hard to let go of… I also remember loving PaintTool SAI for artwork outlines.

Important mention

That said, I’m not going to let AI become an excuse to slack off creatively. My goals are still the same as they’ve always been: I want to keep improving my skills and create meaningful work straight from the heart.
