Development of “Eternal Eden: Reboot Edition” Powers Up in 2025

Beginning in 2025, full creative momentum will shift toward the development of Eternal Eden: Reboot Edition: a bold reimagining of the beloved RPG classic. This ambitious project will build upon the foundations laid by both the Ecclesia (EE:E) and Mandela Edition, unifying past efforts into a definitive, next-generation experience.

Reboot Edition will feature an all-new original soundtrack, meticulously composed from scratch, and a fresh storyline that delves deeper into the lore fans have cherished for over a decade, while forging entirely new narrative ground.

One of the most striking additions will be a newly envisioned group of antagonists: a dynamic family of villains set to challenge the main characters in unexpected ways.

With a runtime four times longer than the original release, Eternal Eden: Reboot Edition promises to deliver an epic journey that will captivate both longtime fans and newcomers alike.

As development enters full swing in 2025, fans can expect a revitalized vision that honors the past while charting a thrilling new path forward.

Happy to hear an update.

I remember how you cleverly posted a modified version of EE to Pirate Bay. I was still in school and didn’t really have money then…. And I still remember your pop up. After I got my first big boy job, I went and bought the game legitimately. Wonderful move on your part.

All I ask as one of the humble masses…. Quality over speed. You really made something special before, and to tarnish it with a rush – even because of OUR -the fans- thirst for more sooner would be a tragedy.

Is there a Venmo we can donate to? I’m on mobile and the website seems harder to navigate than it used to be, not that I’ve been here in years.

And, please, grant me some NG+ capability with an option to save or revive the best friend character. I’d gladly pay extra for it or face off against a KH1 Sephiroth level challenge for it.

  Haha, I guess I’m passing the “Quality Over Speed” test after a fifteen-year hiatus! But you’re right, it would’ve been easy to pump out a bunch of RPG Maker games over the years, but I’ve always wanted my next project to be a fully homemade creation without compromises. The road hasn’t been easy financially, but if everything goes as planned, I’ll be able to spend the next eight months focusing almost entirely on game dev.
  
  Platforms like Pirate Bay, even though I haven’t used them since the 2010s, still play an important role in preserving games and movies. That’s actually why I didn’t mind sharing my game there back in the day. Sadly, Eternal Eden didn’t survive the test of time on Pirate Bay because it’s down to zero seeds now.
  
  As for donations, don’t worry about that for now. What will help the most is everyone’s support when the next game is ready, especially to build some hype, possibly through Kickstarter.
  
  And yes, the NG+ feature is definitely in the plans for all upcoming games, along with some fresh twists.
  
  Thanks so much for your message. Comments like yours are rare these days. Blogs aren’t exactly buzzing like they used to, so hearing from fans of the original game honestly feels like striking gold.

  Thanks John. I always get excited reading visitors’ comments. Yup, things have improved a lot lately, but unfortunately summer is slowing me down. Only about three weeks left until September (fingers crossed it doesn’t drag on).
  
  The next few days are supposed to bring another heat wave. And just to be clear, I’m not jumping on that whole climate change bandwagon. Summer is just… summer. We had similar heat back in the 1970s. Still, I’m not a big fan of it, and I can’t wait for the cooler seasons to roll in.

I normally don,t like playing remake if I have had played a pervious verison but the fact that your adding new villains that the remake will be times larger makes me interested in.   No worries at all, Daniel. I’ve got all the emails and credentials saved. Everyone who backed before has lifetime access to anything I release in the future. I know my reputation or credibility took a hit, but I’ll keep pushing forward and doing my best. Just hoping life chills out a bit with the curveballs. So far, 2025’s been looking up :D
