This post, written by Elder Prince, falls under the micro-update category.
It offers a glimpse into the work happening between major reveals—technical steps that, while less exciting, are essential to making real progress. Just long hours and geeky stuff behind the curtain!
I spent the past four days doing full-time food deliveries for the Valentine’s Day rush, so it’s been quiet on the game dev side. Made more money than usual, so it was definitely worth it. Today (Sunday) would’ve been another good day to earn, but with the snowstorm rolling in, I decided to stay home instead. Luckily, I’ve got almost two solid weeks ahead to dive deep into my game projects.
Going forward, I’m thinking of balancing my schedule by rotating tasks: one day for coding, one day for graphics, and repeating. Focusing too long on code makes sharing visual updates trickier.
