September: So Far, So Good

I’ve been back at my game projects for about ten days now, thanks to the colder weather. My plan is to spend the next three months pushing the Mandela Edition forward (mostly the needed upgraded battle system), while also keeping other official Eternal Eden projects rolling on the side.

I’m also picking up where I left off with the music editor I started before summer. The heavy lifting (like MIDI and SysEx parsing) is already done, so now I get to tackle the fun part: building out the Piano Roll editor.

The best part is, I don’t have to rely on food delivery with UberEats and DoorDash nonstop anymore, aside from covering a couple of small bills. Honestly, that job felt more like human abuse than actual work, so I’m happy to move on and finally give all my focus to game dev.

Feeling hopeful about what’s ahead. It’s shaping up to be a busy season, but in a good way.
