More Effort on documentation

This post, written by Elder Prince, falls under my behind-the-scenes micro-updates—it’s here to keep you in the loop between major releases.

This time, I’m prioritizing more effort to document my tools, engines, and editors properly. I’m also keeping a journal to track their evolution. I tried doing this in the past, but it was seriously lacking due to time constraints. Thankfully, ChatGPT makes it easier by automating a lot of the tedious and technical parts.

I’m doing the same for the Eternal Eden mythos, keeping a personal wiki-style archive to organize my ideas for the series. I was using a tool called Logseq, but I’m looking for an alternative—it’s missing too many features, and the overall experience just doesn’t feel as efficient as I’d like.

I loved using DokuWiki, but most of its best features depended on user-made add-ons, which eventually became outdated over time.

For now, I’m really enjoying using Stagsi to simply link .txt files together, but of course Stagsi isn’t fully tailored for organizing thoughts.

I’ll give more thought to a better idea-gathering tool at some point in the future.
