As we edge closer to the release date, I wanted to give you an update on where things stand. The final state of the game is shaping up incredibly well, and there’s a strong possibility it’ll hit the online shelves on December 11th. If not, it might see a slight delay around the 2023 holidays.
I won’t sugarcoat it—there have been some tough hurdles, especially on the financial front. Balancing the game development while sidestepping financial concerns has been a weighty challenge lately. On this first day of December, a fresh wave of bills has landed, and unfortunately, I’m unable to cover them. Honestly, I’m not pinning all my hopes on the Mandela Edition to be a major financial breakthrough, but I’m open to the possibility of a pleasant twist.
On a personal note, this week has been particularly tough. My black cat called Pumpkin, who’s been by my side since 2018, passed away two days ago. It’s been heartbreaking; she battled illness for months, and I couldn’t afford the vet bills. During this critical juncture of game development, grief has become an unexpected companion.
Despite these setbacks, I’m giving it my all to see this through. Thanks for your continued support—I’m hustling hard to make it happen.
