So, what’s been happening on my side?
Even though there’s mostly been silence online, because I thought remaining low-profile was the best strategy, I can confirm that I’ve been making monster progress in tons of areas behind the scenes. Yay!
In the meantime, I truly believe Eternal Eden: Resurgence should be considered a more complete version of Eternal Eden, and more importantly, one that could receive regular DLC from Benoit Clément of Wathitdew Record if it gets enough support from fans. Seriously, his game rocks so hard!
You can find Eternal Eden: Resurgence on Steam, Itch.io, GameJolt—oh and, with a Nintendo Switch release coming soon!
While you guys are having a good time with this little gem, it gives me more time to keep churning away at everything that’s needed for the long-awaited reboot and sequel. I truly have some powerful surprises up my sleeve, along with new concepts that could help these games stand apart in this mega-oversaturated industry. That’s why putting my energy into fresh and innovative concepts is so crucial.
For now, though, I don’t think it’s a good idea to brag too much about my game-changing game mechanisms. I learned the moral of Aesop’s fable The Fox and the Crow the hard way when one of my precious ideas ended up being borrowed by the godfather of jRPG himself. It was a solid concept of mine, still feel sad about it. I guess it’s better for me to stay quiet and follow Hideo Kojima’s golden rule: keep everything private until the right time comes.
Just know that, if there aren’t too many curveballs thrown my way, you guys will eventually see another release like Eternal Eden: Resurgence; except directly from me this time around, and something completely new.
